The Lincolnshire Integrated Voluntary
Emergency Service provides the training of First Responders to work in
conjunction with the Lincolnshire Ambulance Service. First Responders deal with
matters such as cardiac arrest, collapse and chest pains within their community.
As of Easter Sunday 2006 North Kyme, South Kyme and Billinghay will be a safer place to live.
This is due to the culmination of a lot of hard work and training carried out by residents of our villages. Nick lamb of North Kyme first saw the opportunity to start up a L.I.V.E.S group and with help from the Catalyst fund soon had the necessary equipment to start the intensive enrolment and training needed to run the group.
With all foundation work having been done L.I.V.E.S. is now serving our villages with Barbara and Martin Grice running the show.
L.I.V.E.S. not only gives you training in life saving skills, it also has a lively social side.
So if you fancy learning new skills and having fun whilst doing so, why not get in touch with Barbara or Martin on 01526 861465
