2nd off was Jim Baxter who scored an excellent score of 43 points.

Geoff Panton 3rd off scored a poor 25 points (despite having Johnny Harrison pushing is golf trolley)      followed by the ever reliable John Broughton who added 33 points.

Mick Mawson scored a credible 32 points and Geoff Bailey did well with 30 points

Steve Brittain, who has been struggling with an injury, did well with 28 points and Richard Tonge completed the team and scored 25 points.

The total scores added up to a victory for the North Kyme team with an average score of 32 points , in 2nd place were  Wilsford average score 30 points followed by South Kyme average 29.66 points.

Its all going on in Kyme

Not quite master chef but these two happy boys cooked up the burgers chicken and sausages for the all 65 people who attended the St luke's church BBQ     Whilst judging takes place at the annual village show, just outside in the garden of the plough the dog show was being held,  Lots of yapping and whining, and that was just the children.  A few heavy down pours didn't dampen the spirits of the record attendance. .

Not as many entries as last year but as usual a blooming fantastic display of flowers, vegetables, photos and handicrafts   Victoria Pout at the driving accademy who kindly opened their doors for all to come and have a look at what goes on behind the fence.

At the end of June in the middle of the night,  Glynn Pout, Simon Maplethorpe and Dara O'Doherty were spotted erecting North Kyme's new set of full size goal posts and nets. in preparation for the sports day.  The posts were paid for by NKDC and Lincs county council community funds.     .

Thanks to Simon Maplethorpe, Nick Lamb and the village hall committee for arranging a spectacular sports fun day on the new playing field.  Loads of kids and adults alike turned out.  The day finished with kids Vs adults football match ending in a 1 1 draw.  The match was played 3 minutes per half for adult health reasons!

The ball gets rolling for North Kyme Youth club.  The youngsters of the village started the first of many events to raise money to establish a new premises for them all to "hang out".

The first step was to have a car washing week end. This was a fantastic initiative and was tremendously successful raising well over £100.  More events will be planned so keep an eye out and please try to support these events, the kids are doing it all off their own backs
